People usually buy a new house just once or twice in their lives. While the housing market has become much more transparent, for many people it is still a time-consuming, exciting and emotional challenge to find the right place. Filtering all the information on the listings up to finding the right notary public takes a lot of time and effort on top of the many commitments we already have in our everyday lives. As an NVM (Netherlands organisation of brokers, auctioneers and valuers) estate agent we can of course help with these difficult issues.

Listing what you are looking for helps us find you a suitable home. We can inform you about the specific types of homes in different neighbourhoods, schools in the vicinity, shopping and public transport. We take your budget and requirements and then make a selection of the areas that will be the most suitable for looking for a house.
Once we know what you are looking for, we will compile a search profile. The search profile will be added to our system in your client file. Our system is connected to the NVM (Netherlands organisation of brokers, auctioneers and valuers) database which scans the listing every day. The scan shows the relevant properties, which we will send to you by email or by post according to your preference.
If you have found a house that you would like to view, contact us to make an appointment. In consultation with you, we will plan a viewing with the seller’s estate agent or with the seller directly. During the viewing, we will list all the pros and cons of the property. We will also inform you as to the visible structural state, the value of the property and any other relevant issues that will either make the house a pleasant place to live or not. We will go through these observations with you after the viewing so that, together with your own impression of the property, we will get a complete picture of the property.
If, after the viewing, you are interested in the property, we can, in consultation, put in an offer. We will first discuss any potential situations that may arise and act accordingly. Further, during the negotiations we will remain in close contact with you to achieve a positive outcome.
After reaching agreement with the seller, we will ensure that the purchase contract is accurate and is properly drawn up. We will go through this contract in detail with you before signing.
It goes without saying that we can help you find the right mortgage in terms of financial coverage and type (see Mortgages); finding a suitable notary public; and producing a thorough and professional valuation, which will underpin your mortgage application. On the transfer day, we will carry out the final inspection of your new home with you. This entails checking that the property will be delivered as agreed. We will then go to the notary public together for the transfer of the property.
